The Upstart Challenge is aligned to the Australian Curriculum General Capabilities .
Why is the Upstart Challenge vital for today’s young people?
The world is changing fast. Covid-19 will undoubtedly fuel the next wave of innovation.
Jobs of the future will require resilient people with an entrepreneurial mindset who can use critical thinking to identify and understand problems, create effective solutions and successfully take them to market, think differently and work collaboratively in an agile manner.
Entrepreneurialism is a toolkit of hard and soft skills; teachable skills, and the development of characteristics and traits that are essential regardless of career pathway.
From promoting social change, fuelling the economy to driving innovation, entrepreneurship is important for many reasons and in organisations of all sizes and types.
